I was born in Moscow, Russia. All my life I admire fine art, but have not had a chance to study it in my motherland. I graduated from college with degree in economics and also much time spend in Tretyakov gallery enjoying the fine art. I immigrated to United States in 1995. Here I got a wonderful opportunity to fulfill my childhood dream to study art. At first it was a modest exercises in watercolor. Then I fell in love in computer graphics. I graduated college with the degree in computer graphics and continue practicing art. My art works were displayed in student’s gallery and got prizes.
Now I’m exploring printmaking media. I’m inspired by surrealism movement and my art blends together symbolism, fantasy, and my inner life experience. I express my fillings creating images in black and white colors working with etching zinc, engraving plastic glass, and cutting linoleum. In my creativity I based on my cultural traditions and inspired by artists like Mark Chagall, A.Durer, Salvador Dali, and Rene Margit.
